 Population: 11,477,459  Primary Language: Spanish  Government Type: Communist State  Religion: nominally 85% Roman Catholic; Protestants, Jehovah's Witnesses, Jews, and Santeria are also represented  Geography: Cuba’s terrain is mostly flat to rolling plains, with rugged hills and mountains in the southeast.  Some natural resources are cobalt, nickel, iron ore, chromium, copper, salt, timber, silica, and petroleum. There climates are tropical; moderated by trade winds; dry season (November to April); rainy season (May to October)  Imports/ Exports: Some imports and exports are natural gas, oil, electricity, sugar, nickel, tobacco, fish, medical products, citrus, and coffee.

 Population: 3,977,663  Primary Languages: Spanish, and English  Government Type: Commonwealth  Religion: Roman Catholic 85%, Protestant and other 15%  Geography: Mostly mountains with coastal plain belt in north; mountains precipitous to sea on west coast; and sandy beaches along most coastal areas  Caribbean, island between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, east of the Dominican Republic. Some import commodities are: metalworking, machines, still mill products, agricultural machinery, electrical equipment, car parts and assembly, and fruits. Geography :
