Venice is amazing, fantastic and jaw droppingly beautiful. It is a city that floats on water. Everywhere you look there is beautiful blue water. The air smells of freshly made Italian food. Venice is a perfect dream vacation spot, I’d love to visit.

The people there are very friendly and say hello. As I walk along the cobblestone streets. There are buildings that are very old, but still very beautiful. The sun id out and everything is warm and alive. I can almost hear music in the air.

In Venice, many people travel using small boats because water flows all through the city. The boats are called gondolas and the men that drive them wear cute hats. They take a tour trhough the city and I learn about the history of the city. I feel small compared to all the big buildings around me.

The architecture is gorgeous. Other boats pass us and they wave hello and smile, the people are very kind. As I ride through the canals I put on sunglasses, sit back, and enjoy the sights. I try to relax but I’m too excited to be calm. I decide to paint a picture of what I remember best. On the street I see al ittle boy, about 6 or 7 years with what looks like ice cream.

What it actually is is called gelato. As he holds the cone it drips everywhere and it is all over his face and he smile and looks very happy. He is adorable. I will not forget the look on his face. With him is a little dog begging at his feet. He shares the gelato, and lets the dog lick it.

Later I try the food and I am speechless. The food is delicious. I want to ask how they make it so good, so I can make a recipe for my mom. I sent my family and friends postcards and promised to show them all the pictures I took when I am home. I’ll be sad to say goodbye to Venice and the people here.

I’m happy I decided to travel to Venice, Italy. It was the perfect place to go and to enjoy the beauty of everything around me. The people, the buildings, the water, the boats, the food, it was all wonderful. Traveling there was a fun experience. Thanks for watching and I hope you want to travel to Venice!
