Here we go! 1. Did you know? 2. First steps 3. The hunt begins… 4. Found it! (now what?) 5. Start packing! ahhhhh! We did it!

1. Did you know?… Realtors can help with any home!  other company’s listings, their own, fsbo’s, unlisted homes, etc. Picking one realtor works best!  no benefit to using several – just a lot of phone calls & duplicated efforts  using the agent listing the home doesn’t save money – the listing contract already includes your realtors’ fee –even if only one realtor is involved. Only with buyers agency…  does my realtor work for me. Without it, legally, they work for the seller.  (even though they’ve never met the seller!) Buyers Agencey doesn’t cost more.  except for on a for sale by owner – (but could you do all this yourself?)

2. First steps… Meet with your lender!  determine price range for search &  get pre-approved Meet with Amy!  go over what you’d like in a home  get your buyer agency started  start looking…

3. The hunt begins… Areas & styles  go to open houses, drive by neighborhoods, etc.  Amy s searches & sets up autosearch How about this one?  drive by – (still like it?)  call Amy to set up a showing  narrow the search as you go…

4. Found it! (now what?) Writing an offer & then… (a copy of an offer is in your folder!)  what to write/when to move…  counter offers(?) & negotiating  acceptance! (earnest $)  navigating thru the contingencies inspection financing  the closing….

5. Start Packing! (and waiting…) Stay in touch with your lender!  on the progress of the appraisal & loan, etc. Amy will keep you posted!  on anything that pops up – amendments, the final walk thru, etc.  & get you signed up for First Weber Concierge Service … Closing Day Arrives!!!
