LIVING WITH SHERLOCK APP DESIGNED AND CREATED BY JUNAID MANZOOR IN CHARGE OF PAPER BASED SKETCHES AND GRAPHIC ELEMENT DESIGN & RAFI CHOUDHURY IN CHARGE OF WIREFRAMES AND CREATION OF APP ON APP FURNACE

SUMMARY OF APP Living with Sherlock is a fun and exciting alarm app. While using this alarm you will experience first hand what it is like to live with Sherlock Holmes and to put up with his shenanigans. The Alarms range from you stopping Sherlock from getting arrested by solving equations.

FORM This App is a puzzle alarm clock based on the person Benedict cumber batch and his portrayal as Sherlock Holmes in the TV drama "SHERLOCK"

STYLE AND TECHNIQUE The colour scheme The font “Rockwell” For the graphics and assets we used a simple vector style Standardized style for the layout and button, using pixel for accuracy. We used a Graphic Tablet to draw the Sherlock and Policeman illustration.

CONCEPT We wanted to make a fun, new and definite way to wake up. After seeing the TV show “SHERLOCK” we believed that this could be a good narrative for making creative alarms that engage the users senses to ensure they wake up.

CONTENT Homepage -Analogue clock to keep a traditional yet modern look -Alarm Notification display is compact but clear -Red is used to highlight important information like time and day for repeat

CONTENT Settings -Time can be selected using a slider -Label takes you to another page where you can create a label -Repeat brings in repeat selections from side -Volume using slider -Vibration toggle

CONTENT Alarms -Graphic and speech bubble give instructions -Three answers available only one is right -Pressing the wrong one will increase the volume -Pressing the right one will bring let you snooze or turn it off

INTENDED AUDIENCE OR USER The target audience are fans of Sherlock Holmes, especially fans of the TV drama SHERLOCK. The target age range is 14-30

INFLUENCES SHERLOCK TV series, movies and books APPS: - Sherlock: The Network - Spin me Alarm -Kamikaze Jigsaw - Android alarm

EVALUATION -We could not complete all functionality of this app due to lack of time and knowledge of JavaScript. -We would have liked to have made this app more intuitive with animations, which would have allowed this app to become a more cohesive experience -We would also have liked to add more alarms and problems to be solved. E.G You have to decrypt a Catch code to make Sherlock stop playing the violin horridly.
