Steps in the writing process By: Sylvia Hurley

The first step is prewriting.  Prewriting is when you think about what you are going to write and maybe jot down some ideas. prewriting

The second step is drafting.  Drafting is when you put all your ideas down in paragraph form. Drafting

The third step is revising.  Revising is when you look for all the errors. Revising

The fourth step is editing.  Editing is when you correct all the errors you’ve made. Editing

The fifth and final step is finishing/publishing.  Finishing/Publishing is when you either share your work or turn it into the teacher. Finishing/ Publishing

Those are all the steps in the writing process.  The end.  Prewriting Drafting Revising Editing Finishing/ Publishing
