Using and PowerPoint Optimising communications in our communities

What is It’s an incredible software utility that can compress PowerPoint files by up to 95%..!! “This means that we can now send so much more material to each other electronically with real confidence that the person on the receiving end will be able to receive, edit and view the file just as we would have wished…..” ?

How widely can we use MS PowerPoint to communicate in our communities? Why not use PowerPoint to create photo albums, then compress them with and send them to our colleagues, friends and families. Newsletters, documents and scanned pages from books can be put into a PowerPoint file then compress them with and distribute them within the community. We can create a “download” area on our websites where we can archive all compressed PowerPoint material so that it is available via the internet to our community “It’s not just a presentation tool…it can act like a “housing” for all of our rich multi media..”

8MB Give somes examples of this in action.. A member of your community has just come back from a trip abroad and they have returned with a series of 50 photos taken on their digital camera. Ordinarily a file this size would be too large to distribute electronically… However, by using PowerPoint as a “slide show” and adding all of the additional notes required. This file is now in a format that can be compressed with The net result is that the file size can be reduced from 100 MB (unsendable!!) to just 8MB (distributable.) 100MB

4MB Give somes examples of this in action.. Your Local School has held a drawing competition for Children in the community. The quality of the entries is really good and they would like to make the drawings available to all of the Parents. They could use a scanner to create a scanned version of each of the pictures, then create a PowerPoint presentation with them, enabling extra documentation to be integrated. This would normally be a very big file size but by using they manage to compress the file by 80% and therefore make it completely distributable! 20MB

DOWNLOAD Give somes examples of this in action.. Your Community Website wants to make all of its PowerPoint material available as downloadable files, but because the file sizes are too bulky you have been advised that this would not be wise due to the constraints of communications speeds. By using you can reduce the size of these PowerPoint files by up to 95% meaning that they will reach everybody in your community faster than ever before. More information to more people. Saving them money on both communications and storage costs.

FIND OUT MORE FROM – YOUR COMPANY DETAILS was used to compress this presentation. It was originally 3.53MB, now after compression it is just 727KB!!
