Covenant World Relief

What is Covenant World Relief? Covenant World Relief is the humanitarian aid ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church. We participate in God’s transforming mission in the world through disaster relief and holistic development among the most vulnerable.

What is Covenant World Relief? Our mission is to love, serve, and work together with the poor, the powerless, and the marginalized.

How do we work? We work with Covenanters and other partners around the world to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable who suffer from extreme poverty, hunger, disease, and injustice.

How do we work? Holistic relief and development includes education, agriculture, nutrition, micro-enterprise, women’s empowerment, clean water, health, justice and advocacy.

Why Covenant World Relief? The Church at Work Covenant World Relief is the Evangelical Covenant Church at work in the world. The church is at its best when it serves the most vulnerable. Through Covenant World Relief, Covenanters are participating in God’s mission in the world.

Why Covenant World Relief? Trusted Partnerships We choose to work through partnerships. Most of our partners are Covenant and Covenant- connected organizations. These partnerships leverage resources, empower local ministries, increase local involvement, reduce overhead and facilitate immediate response to disaster and human suffering.

Why Covenant World Relief? Experienced We have been working with the poor, the powerless, and the marginalized for more than 60 years. Low Overhead We are committed to maximizing the amount of funds used in direct ministry. At least 90% of every donated dollar goes directly into ministry serving the most vulnerable.

How can you be involved? Advocate Help raise awareness on behalf of Covenant World Relief and those we serve in your church and community. Advocate for justice on behalf of the oppressed and marginalized. Give You can give regularly through automatic withdrawal, online, or by check through the mail. You can designate your giving to a specific project or area of interest (water, hunger, HIV/AIDS, etc.).
