Nothing is ever free
Don’t open messages from people you don’t know. If you open a message by mistake, don’t click on links or download files that come with it. Never reply to s or IMs from people you don’t know. Don’t reply to spam, even to tell the spammer not to send any more messages. Watch out for messages that ask for your private information. No one should ever do that. Do not reply or click on links. Tell an adult you trust about any message that makes you uncomfortable or comes from someone you don’t know.

What is a digital footprint? What did Mizzle and Electra’s footprints look like? (A digital footprint is the information about you on the Internet. Mizzle’s footprint is pretty small and does not reveal private or personal information. Electra’s is large and contains information that could make her unsafe or upset others.)
What kinds of information are appropriate to put on the Internet?
Plagiarism: Using some or all of somebody’s work or idea, and saying that you created it Citation: A formal note of credit to an author that includes their name, date published, and where you found the information Respect: A way of showing that you admire and value something
