Backgound 2010: Provided SFSP sites at select Summer Camps –Provided meals to 11 summer camps throughout San Jose First experience being involved in SFSP Sponsored by the YMCA of Silicon Valley City of San José: PRNS From Meal Site to Sponsor

Backgound City of San José: PRNS From Meal Site to Sponsor 2011: Became SFSP Sponsor Provided 5 SFSP sites through City of San José Summer Camps Utilized some of the same procedures as previous sponsor (YMCA)

Challenges City of San José: PRNS From Meal Site to Sponsor Paperwork and Logistics Multiple official/unofficial planning meetings Site Monitoring –First year preparations –Consistent monitoring and reporting
