HPV: Symptoms  Typical symptoms of HVP is genital warts in males and females.  Other HPV types can cause cervical cancer. These types can also cause other, less common but serious cancers, including cancers of the vulva, vagina, penis, anus, and head and neck (tongue, tonsils and throat).

HPV: Transmission  HPV is passed through genital contact mostly during sex.  It can be passed on between straight and same sex partners. *a pregnant woman with genital HPV can pass HPV to her baby during delivery. In these cases, the child can develop RRP.

Human Papillomavirus HHHHPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection. TTTThere are more than 40 HPV types that can infect the genital areas of males females. HHHHPV types can also infect the throat and the mouth which is call RRP. RRRRRP stands for Recurrent Respirator Papillomatosis. RRRRRP causes warts to grow in the throat. It can sometimes block the airway hoarse voice or trouble breathing.

HPV: Prevalence  HPV is common in a lot of countries. –In The U.S: –Approximately 20 million Americans are currently infected with HPV. –Another 6 million are newly infected each year. –HPV is so common that 50% of sexually active men and women get it at some points of their lives.

HPV: Treatment  There is no treatment for the virus itself.  But there are treatment for the diseases that HPV cause: –Visible genital warts can be remove with medications. –Cervical Cancer is most treatable when diagnosed early. Women who did routine check ups can identify problems before it develop. Also CONDOMS can prevent YOU FROM GETTING IT.

Analysis  The best to solve the HPV problem IS to focus on the preventing Strategies.  Also getting you and your partner tested before having any sexual activities can also prevent it.  AND please USE condom!
