 Loss of position  Flattery words  Higher Education’s Economic Crisis  Budget Cuts  Furloughs  Reduce Hours The implications of the conference topic were very much of interest to me for two reasons.  First, transitioning to a new position a few months ago gave me the opportunity to create or re-establish position lines that had been vacant or taken out of the library’s personnel budget line. However, to get the administration to give you something back that you lost in this economic crisis, of HE budget cuts, furloughs and reduced hours required more than an eloquent justification of flattery words, but rather a justification that will show and prove that a significant change or increase will result as of the beneficiary of adding this position back to your personnel line. ROI is similar or juxtapose to assessment.
