JUDGMENT…08-19-12 PM Luke 6 37. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Matthew 7 1. Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and THEN shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. HYPOCRITE: a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion: a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings James 2 13. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

2: THE ABILITY TO DISCERN 3: THE RESPONSIBILITY TO EXECUTE JUDGMENT John 7:24. Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. 1: BASIS FOR JUDGMENT 2: THE ABILITY TO DISCERN 3: THE RESPONSIBILITY TO EXECUTE JUDGMENT 4: PURITY OF MOTIVATION 1 Corinthians 2:15. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

NOTE: She is not blind, Only wearing a blindfold. 1: BASIS FOR JUDGMENT…THE SCALES Romans 4:15. ...for where no law is, there is no transgression. 2: THE ABILITY TO DISCERN…THE BLINDFOLD Isaiah 11:3….and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 3: THE RESPONSIBILITY TO EXECUTE JUDGMENT…THE SWORD Revelation 19:15. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: 4: PURITY OF MOTIVATION…THE WOMAN Since the 15th century, Lady Justice has often been depicted wearing a blindfold. The blindfold represents objectivity, in that justice is or should be meted out objectively, without fear or favour, regardless of identity, money, power, or weakness; blind justice and impartiality. NOTE: She is not blind, Only wearing a blindfold.

PURITY OF MOTIVATION 1 Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? PURITY OF MOTIVATION JEZEBEL…NABOTH

John 8 3. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4. They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6. This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11. She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Leviticus 20: 10. And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

THE MOTIVATION OF THE HEART Joshua 7:25. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones. John 8:7. He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. Acts 7: 59. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. THE MOTIVATION OF THE HEART

THE MOTIVATION OF THE HEART John 7:24. Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Matthew 5:7. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 1 Corinthians 6:5. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? THE MOTIVATION OF THE HEART
