The Renaissance

Renaissance Renaissance means “rebirth”. Rebirth of Greek/Roman thought, art. 300 yrs, Began in N. Italy. Italy was the merchant of eastern goods for western Europe. They picked up new ideas from the Muslims, as well as “rediscovering” Greek/Roman learning from monasteries and Arabic scholars
