The Birth of Israel! The Creation of Israel By: Taylor Brown

Significance to the War Today in Israel they are signing house permits and building homes in the Palestinian, Israel. Ha'aretz, Israeli government are imposing peace settlements with Palestinians and the Arabs for the next two years. If the Israeli’s agree with this settlement then the government cautioned that Israeli public trust in America would further wane.

Overview! During World War II, the Russians and Germans targeted the Jews for extermination and they discriminated against them. They were highly stereotyped, had limited rights, and they also wanted there own homeland. Israel was not yet created until after WWII.

Who? United States, Russia, Germany, Jews. What? Russia and Germany targeted Jews during the era of World War II. The Jews were known as outsiders and wanted their own state homeland. ( Palestinian, Israel). After WWI, The United Nations aided the move away from the Jewish State Israel. Israel mediated regional conflicts, provided food and other aid to much of the world. More What? The United as well as other countries, the state department at first made a conscious effort to block Jewish immigration. Commentators blamed this failure to help European Jews on a variety of factors: Anti- Semitism, apathy, preoccupation with the great depression and underestimate Hitler’s genocidal plans.

When? After WWI It was established May 15, 1948 Where? Palestinian, Israel Why? Jews were targeted and discriminated. They had no exception to the Russians and the Germans. How? The United Nations aided the move away from colonialism. It helped create Jewish state of Israel. The UN issued the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Important Information! oThe United States and USSR supported partition of Palestine into Jewish Arab states. oIn 1948
