How many types of cheese can you name? Where does milk for cheese come from? Bienvenue à la dégustation de fromage! Welcome to the cheese tasting! As you enter, please take BUT DO NOT EAT: 1.A plate of cheese, “petits toasts,” and a petit écolier 2.Two slices of bread 3.Grapes 4.The beverage of your choice (water, grape juice) 5.Napkins

Today, you will receive a brief background on each cheese and then we will sample them together, one at a time, in a specific order. We will share our thoughts on each cheese and then vote for the best and worst at the end!

Brie de Meaux Known as the “queen of cheeses” Meaux = the town where it is made Cow’s milk, ripens for 6-8 weeks You can eat the white rind
