Our hymns speak of our hope for refuge: A Mighty Fortress is our God Rock of Ages Cleft For me A Shelter In The Time of Storm

How firm a foundation you saints of the Lord, is laid for your faith in his excellent Word! What more can he say than to you he has said, to you who for refuge to Jesus have fled? The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose I will not, I will not desert to its foes; that soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake, I'll never, no, never, no never forsake!

As the victim seeks justice in the privilege of the judge’s chambers, As the wounded finds comfort in the privacy of the physician’s care, As the tiny baby grows stronger in the protection of the mother’s womb, We also discover in the refuge of God that a rightness can be restored to our world, a peace can reside in our soul, and our strength can be renewed.
