Anecdotally, we know that children are more likely to succeed with the support of both their teacher and parent on Khan Academy. Please use the following as a guide, editing and adjusting the material to meet your unique needs. You will see some suggestions of places to customize or adjust the presentation in green boxes sprinkled throughout the document. Khan Academy in our classroom! We will spend Tuesdays and Thursdays using Khan Academy for the last 30 minutes of our math class During this time, I will be working with small groups of students on areas where they are struggling In addition, we will set-up a peer tutoring bar, matching students who need extra help on a concept with students who have mastered it In addition, Khan Academy will be a part of our weekly homework assignments Students will work through a recommended set of skills each week at home, working to master (at their own pace) this set of skills over the course of the week KHANACADEMY.ORG Note: Please customize this example depending on how you will be using Khan Academy with your classroom and what you want to share with parents!
