SPRING INTO SUMMER Spring… spring into summer The rains flow into sunshine The flowers peek then up they pop and colors bloom School comes to a close and beaches open Raincoats and galoshes turn into sun hats and flip flops FREE VERSE POEM – does not follow any particular structure. 1.

About the Author Ms. Conrad teaches first grade at Abraham Lincoln School. She loves writing poems for her fabulous first grade friends and spending time with her wonderful family. Ms. Conrad enjoys watching the seasons change. She loves watching the flowers bloom in spring, running outside in summer, crunching the leaves beneath her feet in fall, and watching the snow glisten in the moonlight in winter.
