CHALLENGE THE TOPIC: Students are required to come to school. –How do rules like this work with freedom? Why do people follow rules? What price would you be willing to pay for freedom?

ASSIGNMENT #6: On your paper, write down 4-6 expectations about how you want to be treated by your classmates. –State “rules” in positive terms, ex: –Instead of saying, “Don’t talk when others are talking.” Say, “Listen while someone else is talking.” In your groups, share expectations & create a list of behaviors that will help us get along better with each other. –Each person in the group must come up with at least one “rule” or desired class behavior. Each group will share their lists. Master list of expected behaviors will be created by merging all groups lists & selecting top 4-6 rules that class will agree to follow.
