Identify the Problem What do I wear tomorrow? Where do I go to college? We are faced with decisions every day The first step in solving is recognizing there is one

List Alternatives Brainstorm a wide range of options to solve the problem

Determine Pros and Cons +- GoodBad Write down the pros and cons for each alternative Values and Goals are an important aspect of the process

Make the Best Decision Rank your alternatives based upon pros and cons and what can you live without

Evaluate Your Decision Put your decision in effect Did you achieve the desired result Would you make the same choice again
