The issue was reported to international cooperation department (ICD)/CMA formally after Geneva WGNR In early summer of 2011, the officer of ICD/CMA e- mailed WWRP (WGNR) suggesting the training to east Asian to be jointly hosted by PWSP and WWRP since there was one in 2011 fall related to 2010 World Expo Nowcasting Service (WENS) project WGNR decided not to join due to different focus on the training contents and limited time to prepare In 2011 fall, CMA supported WMO PWSP’s training on nowcast and service in Shanghai after the summary meeting of the WENS Progress
