Continuous Innovation for a more Productive Commonwealth

Tony Parham 12/13/2012 Tony Parham was appointed the Commonwealth’s first-ever Government Innovation Officer (GIO) last year in keeping with Executive Order 542, Establishing the Governor’s Council for Innovation. In this role, Tony reports jointly to Governor Deval Patrick and Secretary Glen Shor of the Executive Office for Administration and Finance. Executive Order 542 Tony comes to the Commonwealth with a wealth of business and technology leadership experience which has bridged the private and public sectors, across organizations ranging from start-ups to large-scale enterprises. He holds a BS in Computer Science from MIT, an MS in Computer Science from USC, and an MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. 4
