THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE What on earth am I here for?

Psalm 139 vv14-16 “.. When I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth, you saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be”

Made for a purpose!! “.. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart” Jeremiah 1.v5 You are not an accident of nature or of parent. “Everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him” Col. 1v16

What drives, guides or controls your life? “Each one of us will stand personally at the judgement seat of God,, yes each one of us will have to give a personal account to God” Romans 14 v10 [NTL] 1st step is trusting Jesus as Saviour.

Seeing God’s view of life as it should be. Life is a Test Temptation … trials… refining.. testing. “Blessed are those who endure when they are tested. When they pass the test, they will receive the crown that God has promised to those who love him” James ch1v12

Life is a Trust How do we use the resources entrusted to us? See Matthew 15v14ff The faithful servant hears His “ Well done good and faithful servant” and is rewarded accordingly.

We are not here for ever! Life is a Temporary assignment “What is you life? You are a mist that appears for a while and then vanishes” James 4v14 “Help me to realize how brief my time on earth will be, help me to know that I am here for but a moment more…” Psalm 39v4

When all is said and done….. Everything is for God’s glory…. How can I bring glory to God???? The words of Jesus John 17 v4 “I have brought you glory on the earth by completing the work you gave me to do” WE must do the same!
