LIFE STORY William Butler Yeats had a brother called Jack Butler Yeats, a sister called Elizabeth Yeats and other sister Lily Yeats, his father named John Butler Yeats, a mother named Susan Pollexfen. He had a wife named Georgiana Hyde-Lees, a daughter named Anne Yeats and a son named Michael Yeats. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and spent most of his time in Sligo and London. He died in Menton, France. Yeats won the Nobel Prize for Literature in He is one of the foremost figures for 20 th century Literature.

THE FLEADH Fleadh Cheoil meaning festival of music is a competition. There are various stages of the competition. In Ireland there are county and provincial competitions leading up to the All-Ireland Fleadh. The first national festival of Irish Traditional music was held in Mullingar in September in1951. CCE came up with the name Fleadh Cheoil, aiming to make this a great national festival of Irish Traditional music.
