A Little About Me This is my 19th year teaching and 14th year in Shawnee Mission I’m married with 11 and 8 year old daughters I’m 39 years old and will remain so (okay, so it’s 39+3, but who’s counting!) I’m a graduate of Baylor Univ. and have a Masters from Baker Univ.

Spelling The spelling list will be included in the newsletter A pretest will be given on Monday Students getting 100% on the pretest will be given a challenge list or not have to take the test that week

Chicks We will be hatching chicks once again this year. To cover the cost, we’re asking for $1/student, or $20 if some generous soul wants to help out.

Absences/Tardies Please notify the attendance line at (This is also for early pick up) School begins at 8:10 Your child is tardy after 8:10

Birthdays Send only cupcakes or prepackaged treats NO colored drinks Party invitations should be given out off school grounds Lunch will only be with your child

Fall Conferences Most evenings starting on Monday, Oct. 15 Thursday, Oct. 25 (8:00 - 3:00/5:30 - 8:00) Friday, Oct. 26 (8:00 – 12:00) Flexible to schedule around sibling conferences

Circle Drive Dismissal Procedures Pull up as far as you can go. Don’t leave your car unattended. Be patient!
