Opportunities for research at school and at home... Databases provide access to magazine articles, encyclopedias, newspapers, etc… that Students can use for homework or projects. Passwords are available online for remote access.

AUTHOR VISIT The PTO has once again generously offered to fund a visit by a well-known author. Mitali Perkins will visit the school on March 4th.
Parent Book Club- Read Young Adult Literature and discuss with the group and encourage child to read. Meets six Fridays at 12:15pm
Teams will begin forming in late November… Battle of the Books Sign up and take out a book from the list! The first meeting will be held in November Form a team of 5 students in your grade (if you don’t have a team of five we can create them also!) There is a list of books for grade 6 and a separate list of books for grades 7 and 8.

BOOK FAIR The annual book fair will be held the week of October 20th. Evening hours will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm. Students will visit the fair with their English classes.
