Understanding is seeing others reality the way they see it.

1.Make understanding your goal or objective. 2.Take the attitude of a learner. 3.Value the speaker. 4.Manage internal & external barriers. 5.Screen out misunderstanding.

Ultimately, in a conversation, who bears the responsibility to ensure that understanding occurs ? I Do !

Who is more effective: the manager with right answers, or the manager with the right questions?
