Shielding Inspection Criteria Verify that lead shielding is either: – Contiguous – Properly overlapped Ensure that shielding is secure and will not move Document and Archive

Shielding Defining Process Determine types of panels and shielding – Exploratory surgery – Compare to mfg drawings Develop repair plan: – Procedure for panel repair – Process for documentation

Shielding Repair Approach Documentation – Generate tracking methods for each panel – Record panel information and repairs – Archive documents, drawings and photos. Three basic shielding repair “actions” to hutch panels: – Skinning (structural & corners) – Securing (non-structural & doors) – Surveying (roof, H – panels, labyrinths)
