Registration Timeline Counselors present critical registration information to students in assembly February 24 th – 11 th grade March 10 th – 10 th grade April 14 th – 9 th grade Course recommendations are submitted by teachers before each registration period. Registration Materials Students must bring all completed and signed forms to registration meeting (if applicable): Course Request Form – this is for courses that require signatures. ATHLETICS!!!! T.A. Form (11 th and 12 th Grade only) Course Waiver – needed if student elects to take course that is not recommended or has not fulfilled prerequisite. ASB and/or Yearbook Application Students must select elective course choices with at least 2 alternative choices.

Reminders NO SUMMER SCHOOL!!!!! Honors classes do not need to be taken in block. (except incoming 9 th graders). Early Assessment Program(EAP) – 11 th graders should take EAP test on Tuesday, March 8 th. Sign up with English teacher. Must make up “D’s” in core CSU/UC subjects…student should see counselor for exceptions.
College Admission Test CSU’s (California State University): SAT Reasoning Test or ACT required for admission UC’s (University of California): SAT Reasoning Test or ACT with writing Private and Out of State Schools: check individual admission requirements Community College: No SAT or ACT required. Community College placement test required. (We encourage everyone to take the EAP with your English class during CST testing). See RBV Counseling web page for more info
