Parliament The national legislature of the United Kingdom, made up of the House of Lords and the House of Commons. Parliament is the British version of Congress.
Prime Minister The head of an elected government; the principal minister of an a country. Many countries today have Prime Ministers, it is a similar position to the U.S. President.
Duty / Duties A tax charged by a government, especially on foreign made goods.
Propaganda Information usually of a biased, or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.
Redcoats A term for British soldiers. The term is a reference to the bright red coats which the soldiers wore while in uniform.
