 “I am your audience, and you are mine”  We are all learning together  Coming into theatre I knew I was going to be very nervous to act in front of others! I had never taking theatre and thought I would suck, hearing those word helped!!!!

 The stage is the center of audience attention  Many different types of stages:   thrust stage: extends to audience on 3 sides  proscenium stage: primary feature if large arch, audience directly faces stage  theatre in the round: situated in center of theatre, audience faces all sides

 Don’t stop in the middle of skit or monologue  Don’t come up clueless of what you going to say  Don’t announce mess ups
