Standards PHYSICAL EDUCATION Standard 1 PE5.1: Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities. Standard 2: PE5.2: Demonstrates understanding of movement concepts, principles, strategies and tactics as they apply to the learning and performance of physical activities. M5N1: Students will further develop their understanding of whole numbers. HEALTH STRAND: PERSONAL HEALTH TOPIC: HEART HEALTH STANDARD: PE5.24 Describes risk factors for heart disease and proposes strategies for their prevention and techniques for controlling them.
