Region 6 Membership (As of 31 July 2007)

Region 6 Membership l Region 6 is currently the third largest IEEE region and the largest U.S. Region. At the end of July 2007 the Region had 55,911 total members: l Region 6 represents 16.0% of IEEE’s total membership. l The Region has 50,408 Higher Grade Members and 5,503 Student Members. l Membership in Region 6 is down 0.7% from July 2006, representing a loss of 384 members. l Membership packets have been mailed to Section MD chairs or Section chairs (where no MD Chair exists).
