AN ASSIGNMENT ON GROUP WORK AND TEAM MANAGEMENT.

SAE: Kshatriya A group work at its very best…

DIFFERENT STAGES OF WORKING: FORMATION In this stage the group members of kshatriya get to know each other. Every year new set of people are selected and placed under the guidance of a few old set of members. The new members are selected through written exam as well as interview which thoroughly checks the candidates knowledge in automobiles. After selection the members are trained and they learn their goal.

DIFFERENT STAGES OF WORKING: STORMING In this stage the problems related to mutual understanding and clashing of ideas arise. The junior members come up with ideas while the senior members find out problems and correct them.

DIFFERENT STAGES OF WORKING: NORMING In this stage the members are well acquainted with each other as well as the team leader. The planning and prior preparations for construction of the baja car start in this stage. In this stage the estimation of costs are done and funds are arranged. The team leader encourages the others for participation.

DIFFERENT STAGES OF WORKING: PERFORMING This is the stage in which the kshatriya members construct the baja car. As per last years budget the car costs INR. The team members are divided into many groups assigned with different works that suit them, some sketch out the blue print of the parts some actively take part in construction and some arrange the materials and machines. After construction they go to perform in the international events.

DIFFERENT STAGES OF WORKING: ADJOURNING This is the stage after the baja car in constructed and functioning. The members dissolve and bid each other goodbye. The leader thanks them and promises them recognition for what they have done for the baja car.

SUCCESS Team kshatriya is a success from the active participation of best possible selected team who are not only talented but also very interested and active. They have been declared India’s most successful baja team ever who are aiming for BAJA WINSCONSIN, 2012.
