The stages of team development  Forming- This stage involves individuals trying to get along and avoid conflict.  Issue in the forming stage- Impatience- some teams pass through the is stage in a couple of meetings, while others take months.  Storming- team members turn their attention to the problems that must be solved  Issues in the storming stage-team members presenting their own vies, which sometimes leads to controversy or conflict because of drastic differences from the team.  Handling issues- guiding the dialogue, model effective ways to present ideas, take imperious statements and make them less definitive and more inviting, support and encourage team members who become frustrated.  Norming- Data team is committed to working toward a common goal and becomes highly effective.  Performing-Data team is highly functioning and enjoying and learning from their collaboration and feel that teaching would not be as effective without it. This stage is the desired stage because students benefit from this stage the most.

ElementarySecondary The differences between elementary and secondary data meetings

The differences between elementary and secondary Elementary Elementary teachers typically meet as a grade level. Elementary teams mainly meet once a week as a data team and then add additional meetings to discuss issues like behavior,absenteeism,family illnesses. Secondary Logistics usually determine when teams meet. Sometimes it is difficult to find common planning periods for teachers to meet who are part of the team.
