Progress in Development of Undergraduate Public Health Training  College of Micronesia – FSM: Approved 2009 & started classes in August 2009  Palau Community College: Approved 2012 & started classes in August 2013  College of the Marshall Islands: Certificate in Public Health approved in November 2014 Other Public Health Training Activities  Bachelors in Public Health Nursing ( )

University of Arizona Western Region Public Health Training Center (2014) – COM-FSM Local Performance Site The purpose of the four-year placement is to Support COM-FSM in its continuing development of its PHTP; Support COM-FSM to translate its current public health curriculum to a distance learning platform; Deliver by distance COM-FSM public health courses to public health workers in Chuuk, Kosrae, and Yap States; Provide continuing professional development courses for the current public health workers by face-to-face and distance learning; Assist COM-FSM in aligning its public health curriculum with the Bachelors in Public Health Program at FNU; and Where possible, deliver both upper level FNU Bachelors in Public Health courses and Masters in Public Health courses to eligible public health workers and students in the FSM by face-to-face and distance learning.
