CTE Course Approval and Funding Changes

Prior funding/approval model Students/courses must meet CTE rules during October count to be approved Failure to meet rules resulted in entire course being not approved Courses not approved did not receive CTE category funds

New funding/approval model Changes in how students are counted/funded in FY15 No more October count week Change required a new strategy for CTE

New funding/approval model Some course-level approval rules will remain Some rules will move from CTE to EMIS Some rules will move to the student- level Some rules no longer needed
