Who do we work with?

Charities, community groups and social enterprises need to use IT to be efficient and effective, but … they lack: equipment, money, time, IT skills.

Many are volunteer run, or have part time workers There’s no IT dept.

Depression Alliance Charity was in a funding predicament Could iT4C help get them back on their feet? They needed training in fundraising software Volunteer Ian Rumford completed a full IT audit and trained staff in the new software Charity and server are back from the brink of collapse Ian continues to give IT Support when needed

Benefits to volunteers Feel good factor from making a difference Business and communications skills for CV Professional development, new skills Full project view – end to end management satisfaction and experience Problem solving and challenge of restricted funds/resources

The iT4C mentoring programme A pilot project We match recent IT graduates to IT professionals as a mentor whilst they work on a volunteer charitable project. This pilot is funded by The Nominet Trust. We’re keen to work with new IT graduates and unemployed people of any age who have gained IT qualifications to change career.

iT4C in figures 6,000+ registered volunteers 2,500 UK charities registered £750,000 value delivered per year £1 spent = £4 of support is given to charities

Each month on average we have 55 new volunteer opportunities published on the website 70 new volunteers registering 126 hours of volunteer work
