We want to become Lords hands for others. 2012

 Date of foundation: 26 November 2011  Location: Croatia – Rijeka, Pula  Members: 34  Regular meetings of the community: twice a month  Volunteering: once or twice a week

 1) those who work with children and youth Three groups in our community

 2) those who volunteer and help the poor

 3) Those who participate in different creative workshops (we produce rosaries, greeting cards, cookies etc.) using the products for self-financing

 1) We animate different workshops and meetings for our juniors (elementary school kids) Our specific activities

 2) We volunteer at the Home for the mentally ill adults

 We volunteer at the shelter for the homeless led by the Sisters of Charity in Rijeka 12

 We volunteer in the families with six or more children

 We organize projects in which we raise money for those in need and also collect food, clothes etc. for the poor

 We participate in different creative workshops (we sell the hand made articles)

 Missionary experience in Bulgaria

Twice a year we all gather on a weekend spiritual retreat

 when you work together, even the toughest job passes quickly and we have fun in it Through this year in VMY we have learned:

 Working with the elderly, the young, and learning about homelessness has opened our eyes towards a new way of thinking about human life and people in need.

 VMY is a fruitful path that allows us to come to know God and to know the Virgin Mary.
