Portfolio refers to the binder with hard copy. E-folio or webfolio refers to the electronic version of the portfolio.

The portfolio and e-folio ideas in this slideshow are aligned with the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards. The examples are for English Language Arts.

Suggested Portfolio and E- folio Ingredients Table of Contents including the IPTS Two-three artifacts for each standard (see IPTS template for suggestions) Rationale for each artifact The portfolio should represent your entire course of study and your first- year teaching experiences

Artifacts: Tips Artifacts may demonstrate more than one standard Include photographs or quicktime movies of you teaching Include evidence showing that students have learned what you taught (papers/tests/projects)
