The Bolivian leader (an ex child worker) wants to lower the working age  Children are unifying to legalize child labour in order to receive the same protection and rights as adults  Petitions are in order to let people under 14 work legally  There is a bill currently to ban child labour in Bolivia but many oppose it.  Enforcing labour laws in Bolivia would be catastrophic to those who rely on the income of a child working in the mines or shining shoes  They need the income What’s being done
