What is ‘Konglish’?  Konglish ( 콩글리시 ) is the use of English words that don’t mean the same in any other country except Korea!!  Let’s look at some…………………

Cider Konglish A clear soda like Kin Cider or 7-up English In N. America: A hot apple drink In the U.K.: An apple drink that has alcohol!

Bond Konglish Super glue English Get closer to someone. (friend)

Service Konglish Free of charge English  I need to have my camera serviced.  The restaurant had good / bad service.

Sharp Konglish A mechanical pencil English Able to cut “A knife is sharp”

Hospital Konglish A doctors office or clinic English A big place where you go if you’re seriously sick or injured.

Fighting! Konglish Encouragement You can do it! English To hurt someone.

Glamour Konglish Full figured English Wearing make up and your best clothes!

English… but no meaning!  Some Konglish words are words in English, but when put together they have no meaning!
