TUESDAY, JAN. 7 Copy the following information about summarization. ABC’S of writing a Summary A- Identify the piece of text you are summarizing B- Choose a strong verb. Ex. Compares, explains, describes, presents, … C- Add a main idea Ask yourself what it is mostly about. Write the main idea as a phrase and attach it after the verb. Ex.
