Welcome To The College of Southern Maryland! 2 Did you know that: CSM is the 6 th largest Community College in the State? CSM has the second largest enrollment of Veterans in a Maryland Community College? We have three campuses, three training sites and a fourth campus on the way? We have more than 130 degrees and certificate programs? More than 60% of Southern Maryland Residents take courses with us?

FERPA stands for Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, enacted in 1974 As a college student, your records and your grades are yours alone FERPA mandates that all college academic records are the “property” of the student Students must give written permission for disclosure of grades and other information to third parties 6

What is the Bursar’s Office? The Bursar’s Office is responsible for the billing and collection of tuition and fees, for maintaining student account information and collecting delinquent accounts.
