Problem Can air pressure be used to predict the temperature of an area?

Background Information A barometer is an instrument that is used to measure air pressure. Barometers are used when the air pressure for a certain area is recorded. It can measure the pressure exerted by the atmosphere by using water, mercury, or air. A barograph, which records a graph of some atmospheric pressure and it uses an aneroid barometer mechanism to move a needle on a smoked foil or to move a pen upon paper. Barometers are needed because they record one of the most important parts of weather.

Hypothesis I think that air pressure can be used to predict the temperature of an area because it might depend on if the air pressure is low or high. Most likely if the air pressure is low then bad weather is in the making, but if the air pressure is high then I might mean that good weather will be emerging.

Purpose The purpose of this project is to figure out if we can infer what the weather will be like by looking at only the air pressure.
