What they eat The lions eat zebra and wildebeest Also lions steal food from hyenas and leopards The females gather all the food for the male lions and once they give the food to the male lions the females can't eat. So basically they are just hunters for the male lions,but the females do eat

What they look like The lions have yellow and gold fur and and the male lions have a mane that protect them when they fight. The manes range color from blond to reddish black. It is proven that the color of the lions age depends on hormones and genetics

Their size and weight Male lions grow up to 10 feet ( 3 meters). They also weigh up to 330 to 550 pounds. Female lions grow up to nine feet (2.7 meters) and they weigh up to 265 to 395 pounds

Where they live Lions used to live across Europe,Africa, and North America. Now they live in Africa and range from the border of Sahara to the Northern parts of South Africa

How old they live Male lions live up to be 12 years old Female lions live up to be 15 years old Also zoo lions tend to be 20 years old that's a lot

In conclusion I think we should save lions because they are becoming extinct. They are very cool animals and tell your friends to feed the big cats!
