Formal Introduction

Be Consistent with…  Backgrounds  Text  Font  Size  Colours  Transitions  Animations

 Don’t use distracting backgrounds. It makes it difficult to read Don’t use distracting backgrounds. It makes it difficult to read!

Font is important Don’t get carried away with crazy fonts unless they serve a purpose.

Size Size Size Size Matters  Too Small Too Big!

Colours Can Enhance Or Diminish  A poor colour selection makes a huge impact!  I said a poor colour selection makes a huge impact!  Consistent and Readable

Transitions can impress Make sure you’re consistent throughout the presentation

Animations will detract… Don’t over do it!

Don’t do this! Less is almost always better in Powerpoint

Use Pictures to enhance.

Appropriate Pictures!

Prove Reed?

Don’t Read!  Not from paper  Not from Q-cards  Not from the screen

Don’t Panic

Organization is key  Know that your technology is compatible.  Know what’s on the next slide.

Bring home the gold! Finish Strong!
