All this information is available to you, on the CADET FIELD MANUAL, Orange and Green books. This is a study guide this doesn’t mean you are going to pass just by using this resource!!! Use your books.

When performing a Pass In Review, the platoon commander executes eyes right when he/she is 6 paces from the nearest member of the reviewing party. When at parade rest you can only be given attention. Personnel inspection requires a lot of planning and preparation. At the position of Parade Rest your right hand is inside your left hand behind your back. Marching Routines

When at the command “EYES RIGHT” “READY TWO” is given to return to the position of attention. ATTENTION is not a position of rest when halted. When given the command “AT EASE” you may not talk. On the command “CHAIN STEP MARCH” while at quick time “MARCH” is given at the right foot. Marching Routines

After the reviewing officer has taken his/her position in the reviewing area and the cadets are at attention, the commander of the troops commands PASS in REVIEW. At “EYES RIGHT” your head is turned smartly to the right and you look at a 45 degree angle. When the NJROTC company is forming for inspection, the company falls in by platoons. Marching Routines

The United States Flag signifies a people dedicated to liberty, justice, and freedom for all. The three core values of the Navy are honor, courage, and commitment. “One Nation” describes a body of people associated with a particular territory, who are conscious of their unity. An enlisted person does not salute an officer when at mess and addressed by an officer. Courtesies and etiquette/NJROTC

To participate in an NJROTC unit a student must be physically qualified to participate in the physical education program of the school, maintain acceptable standards of academic achievement, and maintain acceptable standards of conduct. The three services that are participating jointly in a NJROTC units review are Army, Marine Corps, Navy. Courtesies and etiquette/NJROTC

Courtesies is the traditional way by which salutes to a ship, to high ranking, to nations that carry out. When overtaking an officer on foot, the salute should be given when you are abreast of the officer. Weather is the science of meteorology. Courtesies and etiquette/NJROTC

At least a 70% is required for you to pass the advancement test. This review only covers a couple of the questions. You need to use the resources and tools that are available so you can get a passing score!!!
