IN HONOR OF TEEN READ WEEK PARKSIDE WILL HAVE A SCHOOLWIDE BOOK SWAP ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17 TH IN HONOR OF TEEN READ WEEK PARKSIDE WILL HAVE A SCHOOLWIDE BOOK SWAP ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17 TH Tuesday, October 14th through Thursday, October 16th, students will bring in their own books to their language arts class. On Friday, October 17th, students will come to the Parkside Book Swap, in the library, to choose a different book to keep. Get more information from your Language Arts teacher.
Student Council Association Students interested in joining the Student Council Association, Parkside’s student government, need to pick up an application and permission form from Mrs. Drake in room 711 or from the Main Office. Forms are due by Tuesday, October 14.
Chef’s Club There is still room for 9 more students in the Chef’s Club. Sign up now with Mrs. Linda Reynolds in the cafeteria. If you have turned in a Chef’s Club form you are now part of the club! The first meeting will be October 14, 2014 and the club will meet once a month after that.
Quilting Club The Quilting Club is FULL! The first meeting will be on October 15.
