If enrolling as a New Hire, you must do so within 60 days. If you do not enroll, you will be assigned the appropriate default plan for your newspaper. During annual open enrollment period, you may change your elections as many times as you want, up to the enrollment deadline. You cannot make changes to your benefits coverage during the year unless you experience a qualifying life event. If you experience a qualifying life event, notify your HR Benefits Representative, and enter your benefit elections within 31 days of the event. If you are enrolling as a New hire or if you have experienced a qualifying life event, once you submit your elections online, your enrollment will be processed in one (1) day. Once your enrollment is processed, you may log in to eBenefits to view your elections from the Benefits Home page. I MPORTANT N OTE ! Once you have reviewed your current elections, and are making no changes, you can confirm this decision through a few simple steps. Next to each plan type description in which you can enroll, an Enroll button is available. Under each plan there is a Current and New line. Current identifies the specific plan in which you are presently enrolled. Once you have enrolled in a plan, the New row updates with your election. Clicking the (I Have No Changes) button enrolls you in the benefit options from the start of your session. If you choose not to make changes, click this button.
